LiveEO uses satellite data to monitor infrastructure at planetary scale: railroads, pipelines, power lines, the works. Our Workplace IT team makes sure the humans behind all that tech have everything they need to do their best work. As our Workplace IT Intern, you'll support a small, high-trust team on real projects across device management, identity & access, SaaS operations, and IT security compliance. This isn't a shadow-and-observe internship. You'll ship things.
This is a full-time (40h per week), 6-month internship position.
The role is onsite, and it requires presence in the office five days a week.
As Workplace IT Intern, you'll be hands-on from day one.
Your day-to-day will include:
Be the first point of contact for your colleagues when they need IT help: troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Support onboarding and offboarding of team members: setting up devices, creating accounts, and making sure everyone has what they need to hit the ground running.
Help manage and track our hardware inventory across our sites.
Assist in maintaining our local networks to ensure reliable connectivity and our meeting rooms up and running.
Support the team in managing and administrating our internal tool stack including Google Workspace, Jira, Slack (user accounts, licenses, etc.).
Collaborate with IT team and contribute to ongoing improvement projects.
We're looking for curiosity, reliability, and a passion for solving problems.
Ideally, you bring:
A genuine interest in IT and how technology enables great teams to work.
Some knowledge or practical experience about tools: Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Microsoft365, Slack, Jira and Confluence and SnipeIT
Good understanding of Windows, macOS and Linux environments (even from personal use)
Good knowledge or practical experience of networking, IT security and compliance.
Hands on experience with one of the scripting language Python, Bash or Powershell.
Good problem-solving instincts: you enjoy figuring things out and finding solutions.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball.
Interest to learn new technologies to improve Workspace.
Good communication skills : you're comfortable asking questions and explaining things clearly to nontechnical colleagues.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required. German is a plus, but not a must-have.
Real projects with real infrastructure, not a shadow internship
Exposure to enterprise IT tooling at a growing tech company
A small, high-trust team where your work actually matters
BVG ticket subsidy
A spacious, lively office in the heart of Kreuzberg
