Job Description

Shape the Workplace and Client Experience in a Growing Legal Services Group

At Roberts Legal Services Group, we are passionate about delivering an exceptional workplace experience. We want to create an environment that supports our people to do their best work and makes our clients feel valued and considered.

Our people deliver complex work under tight deadlines. They rely on a workplace that runs well, where the detail is taken care of and everyday hassles are resolved quickly. The way our offices operate, how our technology performs and how our environment feels all directly impact their ability to perform at a high level in a sustainable way.

We believe a strong and positive workplace experience shapes the employee experience, and that in turn influences the client experience. If the idea of lifting the workplace experience and making an impact everyday appeals to your sense of achievement, this could be the role for you.

You will take ownership of how our workplaces operate. From office coordination and reception standards through to technology setup and the many details that shape how our people and clients experience our environment. You will also provide administrative support to the leadership team.

At Roberts Legal Services Group, we operate two specialist law firms; Roberts Crosbie Mortensen Lawyers and Delaney Roberts Specialist Family Lawyers. With more than 50 employees across our Newcastle and Sydney offices we operate as one team with a People First culture and a commitment to sustainable growth. This is supported by operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

  • Resolve issues quickly to minimise disruption
  • Coordinate team events and recognition initiatives
  • Support practical improvements to the workplace and assist with operational projects
  • Support both the Newcastle and Sydney offices (with travel to Sydney approx. once per month)

About You

You are organised, proactive and take ownership. You notice what needs attention and follow it
through. You enjoy being the person others rely on. You get satisfaction from making things easier and keeping things running well. You are also an early adopter of technology and probably have tones of productivity tricks and hacks you can show us.

You will likely bring:

    environment (legal experience highly regarded)
  • Experience in a mid-sized organisation where structure and standards matter
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation
  • Confidence managing multiple priorities
  • Strong communication and relationship skills
  • A practical, tech-confident mindset (setup, troubleshooting, working with IT providers)
  • Experience managing employee engagement activities general events with flair and creativity
  • An interest in improving how teams use technology to improve their efficiency and productivity eg. AI, automation etc
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite skills - word, teams, excel and powerpoint (ideally you have a skill for design - simplifying presentations and making them more engaging).

What’s in it for You

  • A role where your work has a direct and visible impact
  • The opportunity to contribute ideas and support improvements
  • A People First culture
  • Amazing employee benefits, recognition and reward programs
