OurNSW/ACTWorkplace team is looking for a Workplace Coordinatorto play a key role in delivering a highquality, wellrun andpeople-focusedworkplace experienceacross our Sydney,Newcastleand Canberra offices.This is a 12-month fixed term contractwith potential for a permanent opportunity.

This role isbased inourNorthSydneyoffice(opposite North Sydney station)5-days a week, and you will be located atour Concierge Desk & Welcome Lounge,whereyou’llbe the face of our workplace-bringingAurecon’sbrand to life through a welcoming, inclusive and professionalfrontofhouseexperience, while also supporting the smooth delivery of facilities and workplace operations.

We’relooking for someone who’s curious, proactive and peoplefocused, with the ability to balance excellent customer service with practical execution.You’llenjoy solving problems, coordinating activity behind the scenes, and using data and insights to continuously improve both workplace experience and operational outcomes. This isa great rolefor someone who is passionate about Workplace Experience and Facilities, and who is keen to develop awell-rounded skillset across customer service, events, maintenancecoordinationand compliance within an exciting and ambitious team.

Your role will include:

  • Delivering a warm,professionaland consistent frontofhouseexperience, creating a strong first impression for clients,visitorsand staff across ourNorth Sydney office

  • Coordinating daytoday facilities operations, including reactive and planned maintenance ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and prompt resolution, contractor engagement, scheduling,complianceand performance monitoring, and proactively improving facilities performance.

  • Managing health,safetyand compliance activitiesbymaintainingaccuraterecords, coordinating inspections and audits,assistingwith riskassessmentsand ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Supporting asset,fleetand car park management, including administration, records,utilitsation, audits and coordination of servicing and repairs, ensuringtimelyscheduling, costcontroland minimal operational disruption.

  • Acting as a key point of contact for workplace services,anticipatingand responding to visitor and employee needs such as passes,locker support,WiFiaccess,archiving, stationary, PPEand general requests

  • Managing shared inboxes,switchboardand mail, ensuringtimely, professional and customerfocused responses

  • Supporting the delivery of events, workplaceactivationsand experience initiatives, balancing operational requirements with a highquality service experience

  • Building strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, externalvendorsand service partnersto ensure smooth workplace operations

  • Identifyingand driving continuous improvement opportunitiesacross workplace experience, facilitiesoperationsand service delivery across the region

As well as experience in a similartype ofrole, or hospitality environment,specificallywe’relooking for

  • Proven experience in a people-centric, client, customerserviceor workplace environment, with the ability to deliver a consistently high standard of service

  • Demonstrated capability or exposure to facilities,operationsor workplace coordination activities, such as maintenance coordination, compliance tasks,assetor fleet administration

  • Experience supporting or delivering events, hospitality or workplace activationswill be highly regarded, but is not essential

  • Comfortable working across both frontofhouseand operational responsibilities, balancing service delivery with practical execution

  • Ability to quickly learn and confidently use digital workplace systems and tools(e.g. booking systems, asset registers, collaboration platforms)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including clear and professional written communication

  • A collaborative team player with the confidence to work with stakeholders at all levels, including vendors,contractorsand internal teams

  • Personable,proactiveand enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for creating welcoming,inclusiveandwell-runworkplaces

  • Self-starterwho is adaptable and resilient,whothrives in a fast-pacedenvironment where priorities span experience,operationsand compliance

  • The role is physically demandingand includes tasks such as lifting/moving light furniture and moving stock, bending, reaching, and standing or walking for extended periods.
