Job Description

We are looking to hire a Workspace Transformation Change Manager to join our Switzerland team in Basel who will lead the people and organizational change strategy for a major workplace transformation. Drive leadership, operational, and user readiness, enabling a smooth transition to the future workplace by aligning people, processes, and technology while partnering closely with project leadership, Real Estate, HR, IT, and Communications to ensure successful adoption.

Lead the workplace transformation strategy

  • Develop and deliver the overall change management strategy to support a successful workplace transformation.
  • Establish and oversee a readiness framework covering leadership, operational, and employee adoption.
  • Define success measures, track progress, identify risks, and ensure readiness activities are integrated into the overall project plan.

Drive leadership readiness

  • Partner with senior leaders to build sponsorship and alignment around the future workplace vision.
  • Equip leaders and managers with the tools, guidance, and confidence to lead their teams through change.
  • Facilitate leadership workshops, engagement sessions, and strategic discussions to drive commitment and adoption.

Enable operational readiness

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Real Estate, HR, IT, Facilities, Communications, and other business functions, to ensure operational preparedness.
  • Coordinate readiness activities across people, processes, governance, and service delivery to support a seamless transition.
  • Support cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-occupancy stabilization to ensure business continuity.

Champion user readiness and adoption

  • Design and implement change initiatives that prepare employees to embrace new workplace environments, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Drive stakeholder engagement through workshops, focus groups, and change ambassador networks.
  • Partner with Communications to deliver impactful engagement and awareness campaigns.
  • Develop training and learning initiatives, monitor adoption, and implement actions to improve user experience and outcomes.

Build stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration

  • Foster strong relationships across project teams and business stakeholders to create alignment and shared ownership.
  • Coordinate change activities across workstreams, proactively managing dependencies and resolving readiness challenges.
  • Promote the benefits of the workplace transformation and help build a positive change culture across the organization.

Key Deliverables:

  • Comprehensive change management and readiness plans.
  • Stakeholder and change impact assessments.
  • Frameworks supporting new ways of working and workplace adoption.
  • Training strategies, learning materials, and adoption resources.
  • Communication and engagement campaigns delivered in partnership with Communications.
  • Readiness dashboards, progress reporting, and adoption metrics.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG) and/or Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, PMI) is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale organizational change, business transformation, or workplace transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record delivering complex workplace, corporate real estate, infrastructure, or enterprise transformation programmes.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing stakeholders across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong background working in complex, matrixed, and international environments.
  • Experience supporting operational readiness, business transition, and post-implementation adoption.
