Workload Automation Engineer – Redwood RunMyJobs

**Location:**Paris, France ( hybrid)

12 months+ contract with possible extension

Client is seeking an experienced Workload Automation Engineer specializing in Redwood RunMyJobs to support and operate the enterprise workload automation platform.

The role is responsible for administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, integration support, scheduling operations, and automation engineering across global business systems including SAP, JD Edwards, ServiceNow, Azure, APIs, and cloud platforms.

The successful candidate will possess strong experience in Redwood RunMyJobs SaaS, enterprise scheduling, ERP integrations, scripting, Agile operational delivery, and enterprise automation engineering.

Key Responsibilities

Redwood RunMyJobs Administration

• Administer and support Redwood RunMyJobs SaaS platform
• Manage Redwood Process Server Agents and Secure Gateway
• Support queues, calendars, partitions, credentials, and security roles
• Support scheduling services and workload orchestration

Workload Automation Operations

• Monitor enterprise job schedules and critical workloads
• Troubleshoot failed jobs and scheduling issues
• Analyze dependencies and queue bottlenecks
• Support SLA monitoring and workload prioritization
• Coordinate job recovery and restart activities

Integration Support

• Support integrations with:

• SAP

• JD Edwards (JDE)

• ServiceNow

• Azure

• REST APIs

• SFTP

• SQL databases

• PowerShell and scripting frameworks

• Troubleshoot integration and authentication issues

• Support API-based orchestration workflows

Automation Engineering

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows
• Support PowerShell and shell scripting activities
• Implement automation enhancements and process optimization
• Support event-driven and API-driven automation

Incident & Problem Management

• Perform L2/L3 operational troubleshooting
• Participate in major incident management
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues
• Maintain operational documentation and runbooks

Monitoring & Reporting

• Monitor platform health and agent status
• Analyze workload trends and performance metrics
• Support enterprise monitoring platforms
• Generate operational and SLA reports

Change & Release Support

• Support production migrations and object deployments
• Perform scheduling and calendar updates
• Validate changes and deployments
• Participate in change management activities

Disaster Recovery & Operational Readiness

• Participate in DR planning and testing
• Validate operational recovery procedures
• Support business continuity activities

Agile & Operational Delivery

• Work within Agile and Scrum-based delivery models
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and operational reviews
• Manage incidents, backlog items, tasks, and operational work within Jira
• Maintain operational transparency and delivery tracking
