Porsche Engineering is looking for motivated Working Students who are passionate about technology and eager to gain hands-on experience in a modern software development environment. This role is ideal for students who have built projects during university courses, personal learning, hackathons, or their free time and want to further develop their technical and professional skills.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to various areas including cloud infrastructure, web development, testing, automation, and data management.

  • Support the development and maintenance of web applications using modern technologies such as React and Python
  • Assist with designing, implementing, and improving CI/CD pipelines
  • Learn and contribute to cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and AWS
  • Participate in manual and automated testing activities to help ensure software quality
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) for data storage and analysis
  • Contribute to data modelling and system design activities
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and product teams to solve technical challenges.
  • Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and team discussions
  • Document technical solutions and continuously improve development processes

QualificationsQualificationsQualifications

  • Ongoing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of software development principles and programming concepts
  • Familiarity with some of the following: Python, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL or NoSQL databases, Azure or AWS, Git, testing and automation frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience gained through university or personal projects, hackathons, internships, or self-learning is highly valued
  • Exposure to Docker, containerized applications, and basic DevOps practices.
  • Experience with cloud services, including through academic projects
  • Strong curiosity and passion for technology, with a proactive and open-minded attitude
  • Critical-thinking and problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail and quality
  • You speak English fluently; German language is considered a plus

Collaboration with Universities and Master’s Program

On average, our company offers 12 master's thesis topics per year, based on allocation interviews for the top-performing students, and 10 Porsche Engineering scholarships for master's program students with outstanding technical and soft skills. To ensure continuity, our Master curriculum is updated yearly, and only the top 5 bachelor level students are eligible for Porsche Engineering scholarships. For those with a Ph.D., a scholarship for research and development in the AI field is also available.
