Join our O&M Implementation team and gain valuable hands-on experience in an international, inclusive, and future-oriented working environment. As a Working Student, you will support the commercial and financial activities of the offshore wind farm Nordseecluster (NSC). You will be closely integrated into the Operations team and gain insights into controlling, reporting, and budgeting processes as well as the economic management of a large-scale offshore wind project.

About the role

  • Support internal technical and financial reporting processes
  • Assist with OPEX budgeting and forecasting for Nordseecluster O&M activities
  • Support cost tracking and variance analysis, including preparation of management reports
  • Contribute to the preparation of business cases, scenario analyses, and decision-making materials
  • Maintain and further develop financial dashboards and datasets using Excel and BI tools
  • Support the monitoring of commercial KPIs and prepare recurring performance dashboards
  • Create presentations and documentation for internal stakeholders and steering committees
  • Conduct market and cost research (e.g. vessels, logistics, service contracts) and summarize findings for the team

Job requirements and experience

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable quantitative field
  • Deep interest in controlling, finance, and commercial project management, with familiarity with IFRS considered beneficial
  • Enthusiam in renewable energy, particularly in offshore wind and infrastructure projects
  • Skilled in using MS Excel with larger datasets; first experience with financial models is advantageous
  • Good knowledge of PowerPoint; experience with BI tools is beneficial
  • Methodical, structured, and detail-oriented working style with a high level of reliability
  • Proficient communication skills in English; German language skills are beneficial
  • Self-motivated attitude with readiness to accept responsibility and collaborate effectively in an international team
