Working Student Data Protection & Regulation

As a Working Student in Data Protection & Regulation, you will support our Legal – Regulatory & Corporate Affairs team in an international environment. You will contribute to the further development of our Data Protection Management System and assist with regulatory matters. This role offers you insights into key legal topics within the energy industry.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You support global data protection coordination within the Legal – Regulatory & Corporate Affairs department
  • You contribute to the further development of the Data Protection Management System (DPMS)
  • You draft and revise group-wide policies and procedural guidelines related to data protection
  • You support specialist departments in implementing data protection compliance requirements
  • You research and work on issues related to technology regulation
  • You prepare internal communications and informational materials on data protection topics

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are an enrolled student in law, business law, compliance, business administration, data analytics, communication sciences, or a comparable field
  • You have an interest in data protection—particularly GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)—as well as regulatory topics and compliance
  • You have very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • You are willing to independently familiarize yourself with new legal subject areas
  • You work in a structured, careful, and self-reliant manner
  • You are confident in using MS365 applications
  • Ideally, you are available to provide support for at least one year and are able to work primarily at the Hamburg location
