This role is fully onsite in Berlin — we are specifically looking for medical students currently based in Berlin or able to work onsite reliably 15–20 hours/week.
Medicine is about to fundamentally change. AI, real-world patient data, and new care models will reshape how patients are diagnosed, treated, and supported over the next decade.
At mama health, we want to work with medical students who are excited by this shift — people who are passionate not only about medicine, but also about technology and AI, and who want to help build the future of healthcare rather than just observe it.
As a Working Student, you will sit directly at the intersection of clinical thinking and AI product development. You will work closely with physicians, AI engineers, and product teams on real problems affecting real patients. This is not a passive support role — your work will directly influence the quality and safety of AI-powered healthcare products.

Bonus points:

mama health is an AI-powered healthcare platform that gives life sciences teams exclusive access to structured, real-world insights sourced from thousands of conversations with people living with chronic diseases.
Patients start by sharing their healthcare experiences, from first symptoms to ongoing struggles, helping us better understand their overall journey. Our AI chatbot then provides personalized, evidence-based answers to their questions, tracks their symptoms and triggers, and offers ongoing support that evolves with each person’s experience.
By putting patients first, mama health uncovers what’s really happening beyond the clinic, from unmet needs and hidden barriers to emotional drivers in the care journey. Unlike traditional surveys or interviews, our platform captures the full story at scale, in the patients’ own words, offering a clearer, more human view of chronic condition management.
We transform these lived experiences into real-time, actionable data presented all in one intuitive dashboard. Clients use these insights to de-risk decisions, refine messaging, and shape strategies that reflect the realities of life with chronic illness.
We bridge the gap between chronic disease patients and the innovators shaping the future of care with empathy, precision, and the power of AI.
