For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for dedicated
Working Student for Internal Audit (all genders)
Part time and fixed term (6 months)
Key responsibilities:
Perform testing of SOX controls, including walkthroughs, design testing and assessment of operational effectiveness
Identify control and process deficiencies as well as improvement opportunities
Communicate effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders on the importance of controls, a strong control environment and the role of audit related improvements
Support additional audit-related projects as required
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled student in Accounting, Audit, Finance, Economics or a related field
Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus
Strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
Reliable, structured and detail-oriented working style
High motivation, willingness to learn and team-oriented mindset
Good understanding of internal control requirements, accounting processes and audit practices
Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
First experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) is a plus
