Brief Role Description

As part of the VW Group, Volkswagen Infotainment GmbH is also part of the global information security structure. The task of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is to adapt the global security framework in such a way that it fits the local conditions of his company, whereby technical and non-technical aspects must be evaluated. As part of our small team, your tasks will range from the development of texts and communications, process modelling and key figure determination to the selection and operation of software and systems to support the CISO. A wide range of interests, IT skills and a healthy mix of flexibility and structure make you the ideal candidate.

The hourly wage of a working student is €17.50.

Possible Tasks within this Role

  • Support in maintaining documentation in the "ISMS" area
  • Maintenance of the process map in the area of information security
  • Research activities on current issues, including the creation of statistics and the determination of relevant key figures
  • Maintenance and creation of content for internal communication channels
  • Further development and maintenance of specialized solutions for the area of information security governance (esp. automations)
  • Technology scouting and prototype development

Qualification requirements

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (M365) incl. scripting
  • Good knowledge of Python and current development environments (VS Code, GIT, Docker, K8s)
  • Knowledge of process modeling (BPMN 2.0)
  • Knowledge of the mathematics behind key figures and statistics
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree programme: Students in the fields of information security, economics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, statistics or similar courses of study
