Nuventura is a Berlin-based climate-tech company developing a new generation of medium-voltage switchgear that is both highly innovative and environmentally sustainable. Our patented gas-insulated switchgear replaces SF₆ — one of the world’s most harmful greenhouse gases — with clean, dry air while maintaining the same reliability and performance as traditional systems.
Our product portfolio is expanding rapidly through new development projects, industrial partnerships, and global scaling. As an interdisciplinary and engineering-driven company, we are committed to accelerating the transition toward sustainable electrical infrastructure and enabling utilities and manufacturers worldwide to adopt SF₆-free technology.
To support this growth, we are looking for a Working Student (f/m/x) Engineering to join our development teams. As a Working Student (f/m/x) Engineering, you will actively support the development of our next-generation prototype nu2 This role gives you the chance to apply your early engineering skills in a highly practical environment and directly contribute to a key R&D milestone.
We are looking forward to your application! Please send your resume.
Nuventura is an equal-opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Nuventura develops environmentally-friendly medium voltage (MV) gas insulated switchgear (GIS) – key hardware components found throughout electrical grids and energy infrastructure.
Our patented technology replaces Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) – the world’s strongest greenhouse gas – with dry air, whilst maintaining GIS' traditional strengths i.e. compact physical dimensions. Such alternatives are urgently needed because, in the coming years, regulators are expected to phase out SF6’s use in switchgear due to its high environmental impact.
Nuventura works with both switchgear end-users (utilities, EPCs, industry, project developers etc.) and manufacturers (OEMs, panel builders) with the aim of accelerating and facilitating the energy industry’s transition away from SF6. In so doing, nuventura helps companies reduce their carbon footprint and become compliant with imminent international regulation focused on the use of SF6 in switchgear.
