You'll make an impact by

  • You evaluate state-of-the-art methods, tools, and technologies in robotics, simulation, and physical AI
  • You support the development of robotics demonstrators and prototypes for research and innovation use cases
  • You work with robotic software stacks and simulation frameworks such as ROS/ROS2, NVIDIA Isaac Sim/Lab, MuJoCo, or related tools
  • You contribute to the setup and improvement of simulation environments and robot development workflows
  • You help prepare presentations and summarize technical findings for internal and external stakeholders
  • You collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate new concepts in robotics and automation
  • You support the exploration of agentic workflows and AI-driven approaches for robotic systems

This is how you'll win us over

  • Education You are a student in robotics, mechatronics, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, (applied) mathematics, or a similar field
  • Experience and Skills
    • You have solid programming skills in Python and ideally also in C#, C, or C++
    • You have first practical experience with robotic software stacks such as ROS/ROS2, NVIDIA Isaac Sim/Lab, MuJoCo, NVIDIA Newton, Gemini Robotics, or similar platforms
    • You are interested in robotics simulation, robot control, and AI-based robotics workflows
    • You are familiar with design and simulation tools and ideally with reduced-order modeling concepts
  • Ways of Working You enjoy evaluating technical approaches, comparing methods, and presenting your findings in a structured way; You are motivated, curious, and eager to work on real-world robotics challenges
  • Languages Fluent English and/or German round off your profile
