Siemens Mobility is a separately managed company of Siemens AG and has been a leading supplier in the field of mobility for over 160 years. Our core business includes rail vehicles, rail automation and electrification solutions, turnkey systems and related services. We have always been very innovative in making traveling faster, safer and more comfortable. Today, we need new solutions to new challenges such as climate change and rising populations worldwide. That's what drives us. That's why we shape mobility with passion, always being one step ahead. Through digitalization, we make infrastructures smart and create opportunities that get us from A to B sustainably and seamlessly. Our over 40,000 employees are pioneers in mobility who help to keep the world moving.

What do you contribute?

  • As our new working student (f/m/d), you will support us in setting up, configuring, and administering Bentley ProjectWise as a central collaboration and document management platform for engineering projects. You will support our efforts to build digital twins of our rail electrification projects across the globe.
  • You will help automate selected workflows around ProjectWise by using relevant web technologies such as REST APIs, scripting, data exchange formats, and integration concepts. In close exchange with stakeholders, you will contribute to requirements clarification, implementation, testing, user support, and documentation.

What do you bring along?

  • You are currently studying civil engineering, digital construction, computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable field and are available for approx. 16-20 hours per week.
  • You are familiar with Microsoft Office products such as Excel.
  • In addition, you have basic knowledge of databases, data modeling, and structured data exchange. You are familiar with web technologies such as REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, XML, HTML, and CSS.
  • You have an affinity for programming and automation. Knowledge of a programming or scripting language such as C#, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar is an advantage.
  • Ideally, you already have first experience with Bentley ProjectWise, document management systems, engineering data management, or similar platforms, both as a user and as an (assistant) administrator.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, like Github or GitLab, is another plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Forms, and Power Automate is a further plus.
