Job Description

Walter is recruiting for a

Working Student Digital Learning & Development (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities:

  • You help design blended learning content by developing engaging e-learning modules covering both technical/product knowledge (e.g., machinery, tools, and processes) and soft skills (e.g., communication, leadership, and teamwork) using authoring tools.

  • You collaborate with technical experts and HR/L&D stakeholders to translate complex technical procedures and behavioral competencies into clear, engaging, and digestible learning materials.

  • You create interactive and scenario-based learning experiences, including simulations, branching scenarios, role-play exercises for soft skills development, and step-by-step technical walkthroughs.

  • You ensure practical applicability by aligning technical training content with real equipment and processes and soft skills training with real workplace situations, enabling effective on-the-job performance.

  • You manage multimedia elements and assessments by integrating videos, quizzes, and knowledge checks tailored to both technical competencies (correctness-based evaluation) and soft skills (reflection- and judgment-based evaluation).

  • You have a learning mindset and have high curiosity as one of our core values.

  • We will develop these skills for you to fulfil your responsibilities if it will be required.

Your Profile:

  • You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Communication Sciences, Business Education, Pedagogy Education, Digital & Media or a comparable field of study.

  • You ideally have already gained initial exposure to Learning & Development, either through your studies or practical experience.

  • You stand out through your attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.

  • You have excellent written and spoken German and English skills and can inspire others with your ideas and vision.

  • You approach tasks in an analytical, structured, and reliable way, recognising these qualities as key drivers of success.

  • You have a strong interest in digital learning topics and a high level of digital awareness.

  • It would be a plus if you have knowledge of tools like Easygenarator or Articulate, as well as video editing tools.
