We’re looking for a passionate and technology‑driven Working Student to join our DevOps team in Košice. In this role, you will contribute to the automation and optimization of infrastructure and deployment processes across diverse environments.

You’ll gain hands‑on experience in Python‑based automation, infrastructure development, and modern DevOps practices, working alongside experienced engineers in real Syntax projects that drive innovation and operational excellence.

Your Tasks

• Develop and maintain automation workflows using tools such as SaltStack, Ansible, and Python
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Contribute to Kubernetes‑based deployments and environment setup
• Assist with infrastructure configuration and system monitoring
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers on troubleshooting, testing, and process improvements

Your Profile

• Currently enrolled at a university in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Bachelor’s degree completed or near completion
• Strong passion for technology, automation, and DevOps principles
• Basic understanding of Linux, containers, and scripting (Python/Bash)
• Curious, analytical, and hands‑on with a proactive approach to learning
• Interest in related areas such as web development or AI development is a plus
