Are you ready to join us?

You will join Data Collection, the newest production line within Statista’s Data Production division, and work closely with the Source Identification & Unlocking team. Our team secures the sources that power the collection line by unlocking access through partnerships and contractual agreements. We also run a structured discovery process to identify and qualify the most suitable sources for specific data needs.

As a working student, you’ll support the team in researching potential partners, preparing outreach, and helping manage ongoing collaborations. This role offers a hands-on introduction to strategic data partnerships, giving you insight into how global data flows are negotiated, structured, and brought to life on one of the world’s leading data platforms.

Tasks:

• Support the Partner Data Managers in daily tasks
• Support business development through market, partner, and lead research
• Generate leads and maintain the partnership pipeline
• Assist in projects and take ownership of smaller tasks independently
• Participate in internal data strategy and team meetings
• Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation to support partnerships
• Support in the analysis and optimization of existing processes

Your Profile:

• Currently enrolled at a university in a relevant field of study, with an interest in business and marketing topics
• Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented approach, combined with the ability to work independently
• Strong skills in German or an additional language are a plus
