Job Description

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Denbighshire to assist with the appointment of a Working Denbighshire Wellbeing and Resilience Coach, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £16.40 - £21.44 per hour

Denbighshire County Council is looking for a compassionate and motivated Wellbeing & Resilience Coach to support individuals facing barriers to employment by improving their mental wellbeing, resilience, and confidence. Working as part of the Working Denbighshire team, you will provide one-to-one and group-based coaching, helping participants develop practical coping strategies and access the support they need to move towards employment and training opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver person-centred wellbeing and resilience coaching to individuals with complex needs.
  • Provide one-to-one and group sessions to improve confidence, motivation, self-esteem, and resilience.
  • Develop and deliver wellbeing-focused workshops and activities.
  • Support participants using strengths-based approaches to overcome barriers to employment.
  • Work collaboratively with Employment & Skills Mentors and partner agencies to coordinate support.

Qualifications:

  • Qualification in coaching, life skills, wellbeing, or a related field (or willingness to work towards one).

Essentials:

  • Experience supporting people within community, voluntary, or public sector settings.
  • Experience delivering wellbeing, resilience, or coaching interventions.
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex needs or barriers to employment.
  • Experience delivering one-to-one and group-based sessions or informal training.
  • Knowledge of wellbeing, mental health services, and available support networks.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
