The Working Capital Controller will play a crucial role in managing the firm's working capital, including billing, credit control, and various commercial and administrative tasks. This partner-facing role involves a mix of financial and operational responsibilities, making it ideal for someone with a financial background who is numerically savvy and has strong commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Billing and Credit Control: Manage billing processes and assist partners with credit control.
• Profitability Analysis: Conduct profitability analysis and support associate training rounds.
• Business Support: Provide ad hoc business support, maintain records with partners, and ensure timely client billing.
• System Management: Work with systems, collaborate with PAs, and support the fee-earning team.
• Query Management: Prioritize and address queries, providing accurate information and support.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience, preferably from a law firm or professional services firm with experience in billing or credit control.
• Financial Background: Strong financial background and understanding of profitability.
• Numerical Savviness: Comfortable working with numbers and financial data.
• Commercial Insight: Ability to understand the business of law and provide commercial insights.
• Confidence and Prioritization: Confident in dealing with partners and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to handle analytical tasks and provide accurate information.
