Job Description

The Workforce Transformation Analyst supports the design, analysis, and implementation of initiatives that reshape how the organization's workforce operates — including workforce planning, skills-based talent strategies, organizational restructuring, automation/AI adoption impacts, and change management. This role combines data analysis, strategic thinking, and project execution to help the organization anticipate future talent needs and adapt its workforce model to meet evolving business demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current workforce data (headcount, skills, roles, costs, attrition) to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and transformation opportunities
  • Support workforce planning models that forecast future talent needs based on business strategy, technology adoption, and market trends
  • Assess the impact of automation, AI, and process changes on roles, skills requirements, and staffing levels
  • Develop skills taxonomies and competency frameworks to support reskilling/upskilling initiatives
  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Finance, and business leaders to design organizational structures that align with strategic goals
  • Build dashboards and reports (e.g., in Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to track workforce transformation KPIs and present findings to leadership
  • Support change management efforts, including communication plans, training needs assessments, and stakeholder engagement
  • Conduct benchmarking and market research on workforce trends, labor market shifts, and industry best practices
  • Assist in developing business cases for workforce restructuring, redeployment, or reduction initiatives
  • Document processes, playbooks, and standard methodologies for workforce transformation projects

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Organizational Psychology, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in HR analytics, workforce planning, organizational design, management consulting, or a related analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, modeling); experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) a plus
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders
  • Project management skills and comfort working across cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field, or HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR)
  • Experience with change management frameworks (Prosci/ADKAR, Kotter's model)
  • Exposure to workforce automation, AI impact assessments, or future-of-work research
  • Consulting background in organizational transformation or workforce strategy
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools (SQL, R, or Python) for advanced workforce modeling

Key Competencies

  • Analytical rigor and data-driven decision making
  • Strategic and systems thinking
  • Stakeholder management and influence
  • Adaptability in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication
