Workforce Planning Analyst

Employment Details
• Employment Status: Full-Time, Fixed-Term – 6 months
• Classification: HS6
• Salary Range: $110,479 (pro-rata) plus Super and Benefits
• Reports to: Workforce Planning Manager
• Location: Thomas Embling Hospital, Fairfield

Forensicare is Victoria’s specialist provider of forensic mental health services, delivering recovery-focused programs across inpatient, community, and secure settings.

About the Role
As Workforce Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across the workforce planning function.
Working closely with stakeholders, you will analyse workforce data, develop forecasting models, and design system solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
• Analyse workforce and rostering data to identify trends and insights
• Develop dashboards, reporting, and forecasting models
• Define and document business requirements for system enhancements
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable workforce solutions
• Evaluate processes, tools, and workflows to drive improvement
• Recommend technology-enabled solutions to enhance efficiency
• Ensure accurate data management aligned with compliance requirements

About You
You are a data-driven professional with strong analytical capability and a passion for improving workforce outcomes.

You will bring:
• Experience analysing complex workforce and rostering datasets
• Strong skills in reporting, dashboards, and forecasting
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems and business analysis
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights
• A continuous improvement mindset

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Workforce Planning, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or similar (highly regarded).
