WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AS WORKFORCE PLANNER?

As a Workforce Planner, your daily responsibility is ensuring the correct numbers of flexible workers with the required skills are available on time in our logistical operations. You'll collaborate with colleagues to piece together the employee schedule, working closely with operational departments and our flexible partners.

What does this planning entail? The employee schedule is based on our partners' forecasts. To give you an idea, approximately 1000 temporary workers are employed in our warehouses in Venray during peak periods. You'll inform and advise various stakeholders primarily via email and phone, requiring proficiency in English. Utilizing data and being adept in Excel and other systems support your advice and requests. Prioritization and precision in your work enable you to furnish all stakeholders with the right information.

As Workforce Planner you are going to do the following tasks:

  • Fulfill the flexible workforce needs for the logistical operation based on forecasts.
  • Create a 4-8 week plan in consultation with operations.
  • Enhance the flexibility of the workforce pool through methods like job rotation.
  • Act as the liaison between operations and partners regarding the supply of temporary workers.
  • Conduct analyses to optimize future schedules.
  • Contribute to process optimization and the evolution of the planning system.

WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO WORK?

You'll work in a team comprising three other Workforce Planners, two Flex Coaches and a Workforce Coordinator. It's a diverse, hardworking team that values your input, working together to achieve goals. Reporting to the Workforce Manager.

Work hours span from 06:00 to 19:00 every day of the week. You'll work in staggered shifts, including weekends. Naturally, these hours won't be consecutive, and as a team, you'll craft a quarterly schedule, accommodating preferences where possible. Your work locations per week are: 1 day in Heerlen, 1 day in Born and 3 days in Venray.

  • A gross monthly salary between € 2.934 and € 3.968 plus 8% holiday pay (classification depending on, among other things, your work experience and level of education);
