Job Description

As an Individual Contributor, this role independently leads complex People Services process improvements, projects, risk assessments, compliance activities, and control reviews. The role adapts established approaches, exercises judgment over assigned initiatives, and advises managers and cross-functional teams to support effective implementation, sound controls, and compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Workforce Operations & Governance Specialist I – Supports People Services process improvement, project coordination, risk management, and compliance activities; maintains operational documentation, performs defined monitoring and testing activities, and provides foundational support to People Services and business partners.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Specialist II – Performs independent process improvement, project execution, risk assessment, and compliance activities; recommends operational enhancements, evaluates controls, and provides guidance on established processes, governance requirements, and compliance expectations.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Senior Specialist - Leads complex process improvement initiatives, projects, risk assessments, and compliance activities; serves as a trusted advisor to managers and stakeholders, develops governance practices, and drives operational effectiveness and control enhancements across People Services.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Consultant - Provides strategic leadership and consulting on enterprise-level process transformation, governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives; advises leaders on complex operational matters and shapes methodologies, controls, and governance practices that strengthen organizational performance and outcomes.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, operations, project management, risk management, compliance, technology, finance, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Specialist I: 0-2 years of related experience.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Specialist II: Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Senior Specialist: Minimum 5 years of related experience.
  • Workforce Operations & Governance Consultant: Minimum 7 years of progressive related experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in Continuous Improvement, Project Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Risk Governance.
  • Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in Critical Thinking, Cross-Functional Collaboration, Customer Experience, Examination & Analysis, Laws & Regulations, Technology Literacy, Business Process Management, and Business Acumen.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, human resources, compliance, risk, audit, or similar certification preferred.
  • Strong organization, communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and sound judgment, with the ability to manage priorities, maintain confidentiality, and communicate risks and issues clearly.
