Workforce Mobilisation Assurance Coordinator
Sizewell C

Location: Leiston, Suffolk (in the office 4 days a week)
Salary: £37,000 - £40,000 + bonus and benefits
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Closing date: Sunday 9th August


The Opportunity

We're looking for a Workforce Mobilisation Assurance Coordinator to join our growing Workforce Assurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in compliance, assurance, auditing, workforce management, training administration or another regulated environment who enjoys working with data, reviewing records and ensuring processes are followed correctly.


In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring the people working across Sizewell C are suitably qualified, competent and compliant before and during their time on site. You'll conduct assurance activities, review documentation, support audits, identify compliance concerns and work closely with colleagues and contractors to maintain the exceptionally high standards expected on a major nuclear construction project.


Working closely with the Workforce Assurance team and Health, Safety and Wellbeing teams, you'll be out on site carrying out compliance checks, reviewing workforce records, producing reports and providing assurance that our workforce remains safe, competent and authorised to perform their roles.

What You'll Be Doing


Verifying workforce qualifications, licences, competency records and training requirements.
Conducting workforce assurance and compliance checks before personnel are granted site access.
Carrying out on-site assurance activities to verify ongoing workforce compliance.
Reviewing certifications, training records and competency evidence.
Producing accurate compliance data and reports to support decision making.
Supporting audits, inspections and assurance reviews.
Identifying compliance issues and working with stakeholders to resolve them.
Building strong relationships with internal teams, subject matter experts and Tier 1 contractors.
Using workforce management systems to maintain assurance records and compliance information.
Challenging poor practice and promoting high standards across the project.

What We're Looking For

Essential


Experience working within a compliance, assurance, workforce management, training or operational environment.
Strong experience in a data focused compliance or regulated environment.
Strong attention to detail and record verification skills.
Confidence to challenge where required and uphold standards.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Good Excel skills and experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work within established processes while identifying opportunities for improvement.

Desirable

Experience in auditing or assurance activities.
Health and safety experience.
Experience working within a regulated industry.
Workforce assurance or competency management experience.
Experience using workforce management systems and analysing compliance data.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualification.
Experience within construction, major projects, energy, nuclear or other highly regulated sectors.
