
The University of Maine at Presque Isle (UMPI) is seeking a Workforce Enrollment Specialist to join a team providing proactive support to prospective learners, working adults, and regional employer partners.
Serving as the primary point of contact for non-degree, certificate, and degree pathways, the Specialist guides students seamlessly through the admissions and enrollment process. This role collaborates closely with UMPI Admissions, Professional Academic Advisors, YourPace Student Success Coaches, Student Records, Student Financial Services, and Student Support Services to ensure a supported, high-quality learner transition.
This position requires a student-focused, tech-literate professional with outstanding communication skills, high attention to detail, and an engaging demeanor. The successful candidate leverages strong organizational skills, diplomacy, and initiative to anticipate applicant needs and support prospective learners throughout their application journey.
The work schedule and location for this position is fully remote with standard working hours of 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST (schedule flexibility may occur during peak admissions cycles). Training and institutional events may require occasional travel to the UMPI campus.

The salary for this full-time position is $45,300.32. The University will take into consideration the salary of current UMS employees for transfer/promotion, depending on skills and experience.
