Job Summary

The Workforce Analytics Partner serves as an individual contributor responsible for translating workforce analytics into operational action and business outcomes. This role partners closely with Nursing leadership, HR, Finance, Workforce Optimization, Analytics, and Digital teams to support workforce planning, retention, staffing effectiveness, and labor optimization initiatives.

The Workforce Analytics Partner is responsible for ensuring workforce insights are understood, adopted, and incorporated into decision-making processes. This role owns the Nursing Workforce Analytics initiative and is responsible for driving enterprise deployment, stakeholder engagement, operational adoption, training, and ongoing program effectiveness.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Nursing Workforce Analytics Partnership

  • Partner with Nursing leaders to understand workforce challenges and operational priorities.
  • Translate workforce analytics into actionable recommendations and operational interventions.
  • Support workforce planning, retention, staffing effectiveness, and labor optimization initiatives.
  • Facilitate discussions regarding workforce trends, opportunities, and performance outcomes.

Program Deployment & Adoption

  • Drive enterprise expansion of the Nursing Workforce Analytics platform beyond pilot units.
  • Coordinate onboarding, go-live, and stabilization activities for participating nursing units.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate adoption activities.
  • Monitor utilization and engage stakeholders to drive sustained adoption.

Analytics Translation & Insight Development

  • Partner with analytics resources to understand models, metrics, and results.
  • Translate technical findings into business-focused insights.
  • Develop presentations and recommendations for Nursing leadership.
  • Support evidence generation related to workforce outcomes and operational improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate activities across Nursing, HR, Finance, Workforce Optimization, Digital, and Analytics teams.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Facilitate governance and operating-cadence discussions.
  • Support leadership communications and executive-level presentations.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Workforce Planning, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems, Nursing Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in workforce analytics, HR analytics, workforce planning, healthcare operations, HR consulting, organizational effectiveness, project management, or related disciplines.

  • Experience partnering with business leaders to solve workforce, operational, or organizational challenges using data and insights.
  • Experience developing presentations and communicating findings to leadership audiences.
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder initiatives, projects, or programs.
  • Experience working with workforce, labor, operational, financial, or healthcare-related data.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Required)

  • Strong understanding of workforce analytics, workforce planning, HR business processes, and organizational operations.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and process improvement skills, with the ability to coordinate complex initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to analyze workforce and operational challenges, identify risks and opportunities, and develop practical, data-informed recommendations.
  • Excellent consulting, relationship management, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to organize, synthesize, and communicate complex information to diverse audiences in a clear and actionable manner.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail, exercise sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Analytics, Public Health, or related field.

Experience:

  • Experience in a healthcare system, academic medical center, or large matrixed organization.
  • Experience supporting workforce analytics, workforce planning, labor optimization, or nursing operations initiatives.
  • Experience supporting enterprise workforce transformation programs.
  • Experience supporting implementation and adoption of workforce analytics platforms, dashboards, or decision-support tools.
  • Experience working with Nursing leadership, Finance, Workforce Optimization, HR, or Operations leaders.
  • Experience participating in ERP, HCM, workforce planning, or large-scale organizational initiatives.
  • Experience using workforce analytics and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Workday, SQL-based reporting tools, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing executive-level dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR
  • Certified Workforce Planning Professional (CWPP) or similar workforce planning credential
  • Lean Six Sigma certification
  • PMP or related project management certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium Max 25lbs): up to 25 lbs., 0-33% of the work day (occasionally) Lifting 25 lbs. max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs.; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Environmental exposures include but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure, Bio-hazardous waste chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, Communicable diseases, Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required. Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
