Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

The Workflow Coordinator is responsible for reviewing, processing and assigning theatrical, television, and new media programs to the Business Representatives, as well as maintaining the entertainment contracts inboxes and other various aspects of workflow for the Entertainment Contracts Department.

  • Troubleshoots and corresponds with producers via email and phone, regarding all aspects of the signatory application process.
  • Conducts online research, organizes workflow, distributes work, maintains inboxes and internal databases for the department.
  • Assesses the appropriate agreement for each project and assigns to the appropriate Business Representative or forwards to management in unique cases.
  • Coordinates application approval with other departments.
  • Trains temp staff on the new media application process and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Able to research and relay information accurately and promptly; Demonstrate effective skills in the use of various research tools (e.g., social media, IMDb Pro, Secretary of State Business Entity Records).
  • Must be customer service oriented, able to deal with difficult situations, producers and performers.
  • Superlative interpersonal skills: high degree of patience and tact. Must be able to cultivate respectful, strategic and collaborative relationships with people from diverse backgrounds both internally and externally.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to use Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and PC applications.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.]
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.
  • Have an understanding and awareness of worker rights impacting SAG-AFTRA members.

  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined by SAG-AFTRA’s attendance policy.
  • Must be available and willing to work extended hours per day or per week, including weekends, as SAG-AFTRA determines is necessary to meet its business needs.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.

TESTING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic skills: spelling, math, grammar and filing – passing score: 76%
  • Microsoft Word Test (basic, intermediate and advanced) – passing score: 76%
  • Microsoft Excel Test (basic, intermediate and advanced) – passing score: 76%
  • Typing Test 35 WPM
