We are currently seeking an experienced attorney to join our Workers' Compensation team in Alexandria. Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of practice experience in workers' compensation defense and a portable book of business. Must be licensed to practice law in Virginia and DC. Maryland also preferred.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants

The annualized salary range for this position is $120,000-$220,000. Actual pay will be determined based on total and relevant experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also offers bonuses and a full benefits package.
