Job Description

Provide administrative support to claim analysts regarding the set up and ongoing administration of workers' compensation claims filed by Electric Boat employees.

Complete state and federal forms in accordance with applicable statutes and best practices. Enter claim payments in the workers' compensation claim management system for authorized medical, indemnity and provider service obligations.

Communicate with Electric Boat employees, medical providers, insurance carriers, attorneys, etc.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 3+ years of administrative / data entry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Worker's Compensation experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ICD codes
  • Working knowledge of People-Soft and OHM

Skills

  • High volume, fast paced workers' compensation, medical, legal or other insurance office experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
