Join us as a “ Workday Specialist, where you will provide subject matter expertise on India employment legislation, Regulatory Requirements, and Organisational compliance procedures. In this role, you will support the organisation by offering guidance on complex employment law matters, interpreting statutory requirements, ensuring that policies and processes reflect current legal standards and attend various hearings with the regulators . You will partner with various stakeholders to drive fair, consistent, and legally compliant employee practices across the organisation.
To be successful as a " Workday Specialist”, you should have experience with:
Required Skills:
Experience in the implementation of changes within Workday.
Knowledge of business processes of Workday modules across Core HR.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Workday Core (core components of the system).
Experience of Workday configuration (ideally Talent Module).
Experience using Workday HCM (employee lifecycle).
Talent development experience.
Workday Certification will be mandatory (Pro Certificate is acceptable).
Additional Skills:
Works with HR, Finance, or IT stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements.
Translates business processes into technical configurations in Workday.
Serves as a bridge between business users and Workday technical tools.
Manages Workday security roles and domains, ensuring proper access control and compliance.
Performs audits to validate correct role-based access.
Reviews and tests Workday biannual updates to assess impact.
Works with stakeholders to adopt new features or deprecate obsolete configurations.
Keeps the organization aligned with Workday’s evolving capabilities.
Creates and executes unit, regression, and UAT test scripts.
Troubleshoots system issues and works with Workday support or internal teams to resolve them.
Supports or configures Workday integrations with third-party systems (e.g. payroll vendors, benefits providers, ERP systems).
Uses Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, or Web Services if skilled in integration.
Provides functional support to end users, HR teams, or finance departments.
Delivers training, job aids, and knowledge articles to ensure adoption and proper usage.
Documents system configurations, business processes, and change logs.
Supports change control procedures and governance.
Basic/ Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.
This role will be based out of Pune.
