The Workday Senior Business Systems Analyst partners with business stakeholders and HRIS/Technical teams to deliver effective system solutions that support business operations and strategic objectives. Acting as the primary bridge between these groups, the incumbent will translate requirements into concrete configurations, workflows, and reports that adhere to strict governance and compliance standards. Additionally, this role drives ongoing operational success by managing audit readiness and identifying opportunities for continuous platform improvement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with business lines and subject matter experts to gather requirements, translating them into functional specifications, system configurations, and workflow improvements.
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of system requests—from intake and design to testing and deployment. You will manage defect tracking and collaborate with AMS partners to ensure deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Lead testing efforts by creating plans and maintaining sign-off evidence. You will also own the creation and maintenance of SOPs and job aids to support the HRIS team and end-users.
  • Works closely with AMS partners to monitor progress, manage dependencies, and ensure deliverables meet functional and quality standards
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for audit readiness. This includes managing monthly User Access Reviews, tracking attestations, and maintaining artifacts for risk and compliance activities.
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies or system gaps, recommending solutions that enhance user experience and operational effectiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Human Resources or related technology discipline or equivalent amount of education/and or experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a HRIS business systems analyst. Experience in Workday highly preferred.
  • Banking and/or financial services industry experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated Workday system experience required including implementation, integrations, reporting, calculated fields, business process enhancements, and ongoing functionality releases.
  • Experience with business process design, system workflows, reporting, and integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements.
  • Proven track record of cross-departmental collaboration and stakeholder management, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer service to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, effectively set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining high quality, accurate work.

Salary Range:

$92,869.00 - $152,569.00

Individual base pay may vary on additional factors such as the candidate’s experience, job-related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
