Your new role
Based in our Manchester Reporting Hub and reporting directly to the Head of Finance, with a dotted line into the Workday team, the Workday Reporting Specialist is a dedicated 6-month role to accelerate our self-service reporting transformation. The role owns and supports the design, build and rollout of Workday dashboards across Finance and the wider business, partnering with Commercial Finance and other functions to translate recurring and ad-hoc reporting needs into live, drill-down views built in-house. Working closely with our Workday team and Hub super users, the role embeds self-service ways of working across regions and leaves the Hub with a sustainable dashboard estate that protects the operating model.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and roll out Workday dashboards that replace recurring manual finance reports and reduce the ad-hoc reporting queue.
Partner with Commercial Finance and other business functions to scope dashboard requirements, prioritise the report retirement backlog and confirm pilot scope.
Configure Workday data sources, calculated fields and security so dashboards are accurate, performant and accessible to the right users across regions.
Run the pilot programme with one business function, capture feedback and iterate the design before scaling to the wider business.
Coordinate cross-functional Workday access for super users and enable self-service adoption across Finance, Commercial and Operations.
Work alongside our Workday team to leverage out-of-the-box capability, surface platform constraints early and route fixes through the right channels.
Document each dashboard with a clear data lineage, refresh cadence and owner so the estate is auditable and sustainable beyond the contract.
Train Hub team members and end users on dashboard navigation, filters and self-service techniques so capability transfers in-house before the role ends.
Track delivery against the published KPIs and report progress to the Hub leadership team.
Contribute to the wider Hub optimisation pipeline, surfacing reporting-adjacent process improvements as dashboards expose them.
