As a Workday Project Manager, you will help drive results for our Clients by overseeing all implementation stages of Workday cloud solutions (HR, Finance, or Payroll) - from project scoping, planning and budgeting, through governance and execution, to go-live and stabilisation.

Location is home-based with occasional travel to Client sites across Europe (up to 40%).

Your Impact as a Workday Project Manager:

  • Project Delivery: Work with the Client Project Managers to manage Workday implementations through the various lifecycle stages, from project planning through design and delivery. Agree upon and actively manage key milestones, deliverables, roles and responsibilities.

  • Resource & Budget Management: Onboard project resources, maintain forecasts, track budgets, and control project scope to prevent scope creep.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Develop strong and trusting relationships and serve as the primary liaison between clients, Strada executives and project teams, as well as Workday (when needed).

  • Team Management: Manage and guide the Strada project team(s) throughout the project.

  • Risk Management: Identify project dependencies, anticipate potential delays, and establish risk mitigation strategies.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports and RAID logs.

  • Continuous improvement: Leverage Strada Workday deployment methodologies and tools, document lessons learned, suggest improvements and proactively address issues.

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of managing software implementation projects within Workday, Peoplesoft, Oracle, SAP or similar applications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (required), plus one other European language: German / French / Spanish / Italian (preferred)

  • Strong stakeholder and team management skills

  • Commercial acumen – understanding the drivers and effectively managing project budgets and forecasts to maximise revenue and profitability

  • Problem solving skills and solution-oriented attitude

  • Experience of working in international and virtual teams

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to frequent change

  • If not already Workday certified, you will be supported to obtain and maintain the Workday Project Manager certification
