Agilysis is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Workday Integrations and Extend Practice Lead to join our Workday Practice. In this role, you will be responsible for building, leading, and growing our capability in Workday Integrations and Workday Extend You will serve as both a technical expert and a practice leader, overseeing solution architecture, project delivery, team development, and client engagement.

Job Duties:

  1. Technical Leadership
    • Serve as the solution architect for complex Workday Integration, Orchestration and Extend projects.
    • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of:
      • Core Workday Integrations (EIB, Studio, Core Connectors, Payroll Integration, RaaS, Orchestrate)
      • Extend Applications
    • Ensure architecture adheres to Agilysis’s best practices, scalability, and security standards.
    • Act as the escalation point for complex integration and Extend-related issues.
  2. Practice Management
    • Build and lead a team of integration and Extend developers/consultants.
    • Define standards, templates, and delivery methodologies for integration and Extend workstreams.
    • Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical oversight to team members.
  3. Project Delivery
    • Oversee successful delivery of Workday integration and Extend projects across clients.
    • Partner with functional leads, project managers, and clients to align technical solutions with business requirements.
    • Manage timelines, budgets, and quality assurance across projects.
  4. Client Engagement
    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients on Workday technical strategy.
    • Conduct client workshops, solution reviews, and technical roadmap planning.
    • Support business development efforts by scoping and estimating new projects.
  5. Innovation & Thought Leadership
  • Stay current with Workday releases and evolving capabilities in the integration and Extend space.
  • Advocate for continuous improvement, automation, and use of new Workday technologies.
  • Contribute to knowledge base, whitepapers, and internal enablement programs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5–8+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Integrations, including:
  • EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services (SOAP/REST), XSLT, XTT, WSDL/XSD, Orchestrations
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying Workday Extend applications.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead on Workday projects.
  • Strong understanding of HCM, Payroll, Benefits, and/or Financials data structures and business processes.
  • Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present technical topics to business audiences.
  • Workday certifications in Integration, Orchestration or Extend (a big plus but not mandatory).
