Job Description

This role is part of our ongoing bench program for upcoming client engagements. We are proactively identifying experienced consultants who can be deployed quickly as new projects are confirmed. While this position is not tied to an immediate start, it represents a strong opportunity to be considered for upcoming work aligned with your expertise and availability.

Please note that prior consulting experience is required, as this role will involve stepping into client environments with minimal ramp-up, working independently, and delivering high-quality outcomes. Qualified candidates will be contacted as relevant projects become available.

About the Role

We are building a network of experienced Workday professionals for upcoming consulting engagements supporting enterprise HR and financial transformation initiatives. This role is best suited for consultants who are comfortable stepping into client environments, working independently, and supporting ongoing optimization, configuration, and support activities across Workday HCM and/or Financials environments.

We are seeking a Workday HCM / Financials Administrator to support system administration, configuration, reporting, integrations, and ongoing optimization efforts within enterprise Workday environments. This role will partner closely with HR, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure Workday solutions align with operational needs and evolving business processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Workday HCM modules such as Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Recruiting, and/or Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Procurement

  • Build and maintain Workday business processes, condition rules, notifications, and security configurations

  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics using Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Composite Reports, and Prism Analytics

  • Support tenant configuration changes and deployment activities across Workday environments

  • Troubleshoot and support Workday integrations including EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio integrations

  • Support Workday semi-annual release updates, regression testing, feature evaluations, and adoption planning

  • Partner with HR and Finance stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions

  • Manage Workday security roles, domains, and user access configurations

  • Maintain system documentation including configuration workbooks, testing scripts, SOPs, and training materials

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for Workday application issues and end-user troubleshooting

  • Support implementation, enhancement, and post-production optimization initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Workday administration experience supporting HCM and/or Financials environments

  • Current Workday Pro certification in at least one module (HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Financials, Reporting, etc.)

  • Experience supporting Workday implementation, optimization, or post-production support projects

  • Strong experience with Workday reporting tools including Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Composite Reports

  • Understanding of Workday security framework, business processes, and role-based access controls

  • Experience supporting Workday integrations including EIBs, Core Connectors, or Workday Studio

  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Note: This role supports upcoming client engagements. Candidates should have prior consulting experience and be comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with minimal ramp-up.
