
We are seeking an experienced Workday Functional Consultant to support the design, optimisation, and delivery of the process improvements within the context of the H2R process transformation. Working closely with HR, Technology, Programme stakeholders, and third-party partners, the successful consultant will provide functional leadership across the H2R workstream and Workday platform, ensuring solutions are aligned to business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, future operating model objectives, and the H2R end-to-end process scope.
This role requires a strong blend of functional expertise, solution architecture capability, stakeholder management, and hands-on Workday configuration experience.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Leadership
Act as the functional solution lead for relevant Workday components within the H2R process
Solution Design
Delivery & Change
Lead workshops with business stakeholders and HR SMEs.
Provide functional leadership within H2R workstreams, working with the Workstream Lead and Project Manager to support delivery.
Work with Process Experts and Business Analysts to translate agreed future-state processes and requirements into scalable Workday solution designs.
Provide functional assurance and issue resolution support across testing, UAT, defect triage, and deployment activities.
Support adoption readiness by ensuring functional designs, configuration decisions, and impacts are clearly documented and communicated.
Support optimisation activity around Workday bi-annual updates.

Partner with the Workstream Lead by providing functional solution leadership that supports end-to-end workstream design, testing, deployment, transition, and readiness.
Partner with Workday Process Experts and Business Analysts by translating agreed process designs, requirements, and operating model decisions into Workday solution options and configuration decisions.
Partner with the Project Manager by providing functional input, estimates, risks, status updates, and issue resolution support within the agreed delivery plan.
Partner with internal Business Analysts, enabling them to learn through this engagement and support JM’s Workday solution going forwards.
