As a Workday Finance Senior Associate you will support consulting services for Workday finance applications, helping clients streamline financial processes, improve reporting, and adopt software solutions that align with business needs. As a Senior Associate you will analyze complex problems, manage assigned workstreams, build meaningful client connections, and mentor junior team members while working through ambiguity and using critical thinking to deliver dependable work within our Digital Core Modernisation practice. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to client requirements gathering, solution implementation, training, and support for Workday finance solutions, bringing an understanding of business context and a focus on relationship building to each engagement.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing client finance requirements and translating them into Workday configuration and process design
• Implementing Workday Financials solutions that support accounting, reporting, and transaction processing needs
• Configuring finance business processes, security roles, and system settings within Workday
• Supporting data conversion, testing, issue resolution, and cutover activities across implementation workstreams
• Developing and delivering client training materials that explain system functionality and finance process changes
• Interpreting financial reporting needs and configuring Workday reporting and analytics outputs
• Reviewing workstream deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project objectives
• Building client relationships by addressing questions, clarifying requirements, and responding to evolving needs
• Coordinating with senior team members to manage assigned tasks and track project milestones
• Applying critical thinking to resolve configuration issues and support process improvement recommendations

What You Must Have

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least 4 years of experience
• Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

• At least one of the following: One or more Workday certifications in Financial Management, including Workday Financials, Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Expenses, or finance platform credentials
• Demonstrating Workday Financials configuration experience across client implementations
• Translating finance processes into system requirements and solutions
• Interpreting financial data for reporting and recommendation development
• Mentoring junior team members through complex client deliverables
• Navigating ambiguity while developing client-focused Workday finance solutions
