The Workday Application Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and support of Workday applications, integrations, and automation solutions across the enterprise. This role serves as a hands-on technical expert, collaborating with HRIS, HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient Workday solutions.

The incumbent develops and maintains Workday integrations, Workday Extend applications, Prism pipelines, and automation frameworks while ensuring adherence to technical standards and best practices. The role also supports bi-annual Workday releases, performs impact analysis, troubleshoots issues, and contributes to the continuous improvement of the Workday platform and related processes.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, REST/SOAP APIs, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and EIBs to enable seamless data exchange across enterprise systems.

• Configure, develop, and support Workday Orchestrations to automate complex business processes and improve end-to-end workflow efficiency across HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT functions.

• Develop and maintain Workday Prism Analytics pipelines, including data ingestion, transformation, blending, and publishing datasets to support reporting, dashboards, and business analytics.

• Build and optimize Prism datasets by integrating data from Workday and external sources, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance.

• Monitor and troubleshoot integration, Orchestration, and Prism processes, proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions to ensure reliable system performance.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design scalable integration, automation, and analytics solutions leveraging Workday platform capabilities.

• Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, Orchestrations, Prism pipelines, and custom applications, including design specifications, runbooks, and support procedures.

• Support testing, deployment, and change management activities for integrations, Orchestrations, and Prism solutions during Workday bi-annual releases and project implementations.

• Evaluate and adopt new Workday features, including Workday AI Agents, Orchestrations, and Prism enhancements, to continuously improve business processes and user experience.
