We are seeking a Workday Adv Compensation Implementation Functional Consultant to join our Digital HR implementation team. The consultant will be responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying Workday Advanced Compensation solutions that align with business requirements. While the primary focus will be on Workday Adv Compensation, a foundational understanding of Workday HCM & Core Compensation is required to ensure smooth integration and data flow across modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, migrate and support end-to-end implementation of the Workday Adv Compensation module.
  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with HR and business stakeholders to capture compensation administration needs.
  • Configure Workday Core & Adv Compensation Components such as plans, programs, eligibility rules, events, Compensation Review, Participation Rules.
  • Collaborate with HCM, Payroll, and Security teams to ensure seamless integration of compensation data (e.g., worker profiles and security groups).
  • Perform unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and troubleshooting during implementation.
  • Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration guides, and training materials.
  • Provide hypercare support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations post go-live.
  • Assist with migration and report creation related to Adv Compensation.
  • Stay updated with Workday releases and new Compensation features, assessing their applicability to business needs.
  • Support compliance with local and global compensation regulations and ensure accurate reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor / Masters' degree in human resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of experience in Workday Core & Adv Compensation implementation or support.
  • Minimum foundational knowledge of Workday HCM & Core Compensation— e.g., understanding worker data, organizational structure, and security concepts.
  • Strong functional understanding of compensation administration processes (e.g., plan setup, eligibility, compliance).
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional system configurations.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Workday certification in Compensation (not mandatory).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to other Workday modules such as HCM, Adv Compensation.
  • Basic knowledge of Workday Calculated Fields.
  • Prior experience in HR technology or HR transformation projects.
