Job Description

Your Contribution

As an employee in work preparation with a focus on soldering processes (m/f/d), you will take on a key role in the planning, costing, and continuous optimization of our manufacturing processes in the field of cooling and air conditioning.

  • Continuous optimization of furnace technology and soldering processes, including associated fixtures
  • Influence the design of products to ensure they are suitable and optimized for soldering, in close collaboration with design engineering
  • Conduct root cause analyses for soldering defects and derive and implement appropriate corrective actions
  • Document analysis results and optimization measures
  • Monitor and ensure stable process control of soldering systems
  • Create and adjust programs for soldering processes (e.g., batch changes or new products)
  • Perform visual inspections of solder joints as part of sampling procedures
  • Create and maintain work plans including process sequences and time specifications
  • Apply lean management methods (e.g., value stream design, 5S) to optimize production processes
  • Conduct economic efficiency analyses and implement process optimizations and rationalization measures
  • Support new product launches and series production
  • Work closely with quality management, especially in P-FMEA and failure analyses, and implement optimization measures
  • Participate in workplace design and layout planning

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Successfully completed technical degree (minimum four-year university education, e.g., mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science)
  • Professional experience in work preparation or industrial engineering
  • Experience in optimizing soldering processes (high-vacuum soldering systems)
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and design-for-manufacturing principles
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding
  • Structured, analytical, and independent working style
  • Team player with strong communication skills
  • Experience with SAP
  • Fluent German and good English skills (spoken and written)
