General SummarySupervises inmate work crews and provides security for work details in performing right-of-way and drainage conveyance maintenance work in outside non-secure areas of the county correctional facility. Work is performed within the guidelines of Department of Corrections, Augusta Fire Department, state and federal laws, local ordinances, and supervisory instructions. Reports to the Logistics Captain or other designated person and works with inmates, co‑workers, employees, law enforcement officers, and the public to provide operational support.

Education: High School diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience in construction, general maintenance, groundskeeping, painting, and the ability to supervise inmate work assignments in a variety of tasks.

More than 50% of this position involves travel from the office to other locations.
