The Opportunity

Bring together web development, content management, cloud engineering, and data integration to deliver custom solutions for complex mission needs. You will build polished WordPress experiences, code within AWS environments, and help connect applications, systems, databases, and enterprise data.

Turn complex requirements into secure, intuitive, and maintainable digital solutions.

Custom WordPressDevelop plugins, themes, content structures, and interactive experiences using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Cloud IntegrationDesign and interface applications, systems, databases, and services across AWS cloud environments. Client PartnershipTranslate technical concepts clearly, recommend improvements, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Demonstrated Experience

• Creating custom WordPress plugins using PHP to add new website functionality.
• Developing custom WordPress themes using HTML, CSS, and PHP to create unique designs and layouts.
• Using JavaScript to create interactive WordPress elements, such as sliders and modals.
• Designing and developing web-based applications.
• Configuring content management in WordPress.
• Applying WordPress core functions, hooks, and APIs to develop custom solutions.
• Communicating with clients and customers in spoken and written formats.
• Coding within AWS environments.
• Designing, developing, integrating, and interfacing with systems and databases in a cloud environment.
• Conveying technical information clearly to non-technical individuals.

Desired Skills & Demonstrated Experience

• Creating website graphics using Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Applying creativity and innovation beyond current tools to solve complex problems.
• Creating and configuring virtual private clouds (VPCs).
• Creating Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances.
• Configuring load balancers, security groups, and users and groups using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Evaluating and maintaining Unix and Linux systems for availability and efficiency.
• Creating compelling, interactive dashboards in Tableau, Power BI, or a similar tool.
• Performing system administration and database management tasks using data management tools such as NoSQL and Tableau.
• Using task tracking and version control tools such as GitHub and JIRA.
• Making recommendations regarding proposed changes.
• Communicating with clients and customers in spoken and written formats.
• Conveying technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications with custom tools.
• Integrating Sponsor data sets.
• Working in a DevOps environment.
• Automating business workflows and processes.
• Working with data flows across the Sponsor's enterprise data warehouses.
• Designing and developing in Palantir.
