Our mission: Improving the quality of life for all North Texans through medical care, support services and advocacy. Our vision: A healthy community.

We are currently in need of a full-time Women’s Health provider (APRN, WHNP, PA-C, etc.) that is seeking to maximize their clinical experience by providing exceptional patient care across a broad range of integrated healthcare solutions. We “close the gap” by leveraging our vast resources to enable continuity of care, with a focus on women’s health related care and conditions, including gynecology and prenatal, with a focus on establishing a medical home for comprehensive healthcare.

Our healthcare providers operate at the very highest level of expertise as they provide comprehensive, team-based care in a fast-paced environment within a non-profit, community healthcare setting. Our providers love HSNT because we treat patients from all walks of life--regardless of socio-economic status--for a wide range of acute and chronic physical, mental, and social health conditions and in collaboration with a team of medical professionals.

HSNT is seeking providers that are passionate about providing care, education, and resources in a community health setting to patients and families that have very limited options for their medical needs; and those providers that are ready to embrace the challenge of maximizing their already existing knowledge base and experience.

A day in the life of our Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant may look like this:

  • Provides additional assessments and evaluation of drug therapies and treatment regimen during routine follow-up clinic visits, ensuring patients continue to receive effective, efficient primary health care.
  • Maintains open consulting relationship with the physician to ensure delivery of the most effective medical care.
  • Educates client on medication regimens and drug adherence.
  • Provides ongoing primary medical care to patients, including medical history, evaluation, appropriate treatment for women’s health-related care and/or other conditions according to Public Health Service Treatment Guidelines including American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and give referrals to specialists for needs that exceed the scope of primary care.
  • Maintain referral base of specialists to provide services for our patient base as needed.
  • Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and supervision of medical care of patients to other clinical providers.
  • Provide training and orientation for new clinical providers.
  • Adhere to all agency and clinic policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality management studies.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
