Under direct supervision, utilizing the agency values of Embracing Service, Inspiring Innovation, Promoting Teamwork, Pursing Excellence and Advancing Equity performs Women, Infants and Children (WIC) client administrative support duties WIC Clinics. Implements and adheres to agency/program policies and procedures for efficient service delivery. Maintains strict confidentially and upholds all agency privacy practices.
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements: High School Diploma or GED with one (1) year related clerical experience or High School Diploma or GED with any amount of SCDHEC / SCDPH work experience An Associate's Degree in a Secretarial Science/related field & one (1) year clerical office experience; or a Bachelor's Degree or higher with no clerical office experience.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications, subject to approval by the SCDPH Chief Human Resources Officer, or their delegate.

DRIVING RECORD If this position requires the applicant to possess a valid driver's license to operate a state vehicle or personal vehicle, any applicant, being considered in the final stages of selection for the position will be required to provide a certified copy of a 10-year driving record.
IMMUNIZATION: All new employees who are healthcare providers are required to provide documentation of immunity or be immunized against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Pertussis, Varicella, and Hepatitis B prior to beginning employment.
