Under the direction of the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Administrative Services Coordinator, provides direction and supervision to administrative support staff. Collaborates with all programs and WIC leadership team to assure effectiveness and efficiency in provision of services in a culturally competent and customer friendly environment.
State Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.
Institutions of Higher Learning must be recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Agency Additional Requirements: A bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years responsible administrative support supervisory experience; or associate degree in related field and three (3) years experience, or HS/GED and four years of responsible administrative experience. Agency experience and proven ability may be substituted for supervisory experience.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in meeting the minimum qualifications, subject to approval by the SCDPH Chief Human Resources Officer, or their delegate.

One (1) year of WIC Administrative services experience. Bilingual English/Spanish.

IMMUNIZATION: All new employees who are healthcare providers are required to provide documentation of immunity or be immunized against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Pertussis, Varicella, and Hepatitis B prior to beginning employment.
