WMTW News Intern
WMTW-TV, the ABC affiliate in Portland, ME, has an opening for a summer News Intern This 10-week paid internship provides individuals the opportunity to learn about the operations of a broadcast television station. You will gain knowledge of the broadcast industry through exposure to all the positions within the News and Production departments. This internship will run from approximately June thru August with some flexibility based on your availability.
Summer 2025 Session – application deadline 04/30/25

News Interns will work alongside reporters, producers, directors, studio operators, and News managers to experience nearly all aspects of television news creation.
You will receive hands-on experience with positions in the newsroom, including:
Interns will also learn about departments outside of the newsroom, including Sales, Creative Services, and Engineering.
Final Candidates are subject to a background check as a condition of employment with WMTW-TV.
