Job Purpose:

Weatherford has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Wireline Field Operator II to join the Wireline Team in Peine, Germany. The Wireline Field Operator II will be responsible for the installation, repair, and routine servicing of Wireline-related equipment both in the field and the shop. This hands-on role involves operating Weatherford’s equipment and systems, following detailed technical procedures, and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field operations for Wireline equipment.
• Provide on-site support to the Field Supervisor, ensuring adherence to Weatherford service quality standards and client expectations.
• Ensure proper rig-up/rig-down of equipment following strict work instructions and safety protocols.
• Maintain or assist with accurate job records and complete detailed reports.
• Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and Job Hazard Analyses (JHA); report issues promptly using company reporting tools.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and presentable work environment at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, within the physical demands of the role.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of oil and gas offshore field experience with at least 2-3 years in Wireline.
• Proficiency in using Wireline tools, equipment calibration, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong knowledge of oilfield Wireline products and pressure control equipment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, strong judgment and decision-making to be in line with policies and procedures.
• Good time management
• Able to meet the physical demands that the role requires
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, and travel to remote locations as required.
• Valid EU passport or valid work permit.
• German language skills are preferred, and English language skills is required.
• Valid driving license is required and heavy-duty driving license is preferred.
