Could you be the full-time Wireless Solution Engineer in Bangkok we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in wireless network design, radio architecture, and cyber security in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and solution-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in delivering stable and resilient railway communications through the design, development, validation, and maintenance of mission-critical IP-based radio networks. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business (e.g., wired network systems, application developers), serve as the technical point of contact for complex queries during system deployment, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our solutions.
You’ll specifically take care of conceptualizing and developing wireless network solutions, but also creating and maintaining standard documentation and test cases for validation activities.
We’ll look to you for:
Conceptualizing wireless network solutions based on system application requirements
Developing wireless network sub-system requirements frameworks
Defining architecture and implementation methodologies for standard radio solutions
Collaborating within the program team to integrate interfaces of the network solution
Creating and maintaining standard documents for the radio solution in accordance with project-specific requirements
Creating test cases for validation activities and reviewing test results
Acting as a technical reference for issue escalation during project deployment
Ensuring compliance with relevant quality and process directives
Recommending tools and product improvements in line with technological developments
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Bachelor’s Degree in Radio and/or Telecoms Engineering
Experience or understanding of wireless network design and deployment
Knowledge of wireless communication technologies such as Wi-Fi, GSM, 3G, 4G, Tetra, and emerging technologies like Wi-Fi6 and 5G
Familiarity with wireless cyber security controls such as WPA2, WPA3, WIPS, EAP-TLS
A strong understanding of industry-standard protocols (802.11a/b/g/n/ac, 3GPP REL14/15/16, SNMP, Syslog)
Hands-on experience with network management and traffic analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, iperf)
Competency in NMS implementation for wireless equipment status and control
Working knowledge of requirements management and configuration management tools
Proactive mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluency in spoken and written English
