
Oliver Winery, the 30th largest winery in the country, has an opening for an experienced Engineering & Maintenance Manager. This is a critical leadership position responsible for the technical integrity, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability of the winery and hospitality facilities. This role oversees all aspects of facility maintenance, capital projects, and engineering standards to ensure seamless high-volume production while maintaining strict safety and quality compliance.
Not only will you get the opportunity to work on large projects, you will own the maintenance of our wine-making equipment, the production line all on a 4.5 day work week so you have time to enjoy your weekends. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a physical job in a winery/production setting that will require long periods of standing, walking, lifting, climbing ladders and the ability to observe others and the work environment. This position may occasionally be exposed to wet or humid conditions, work near moving mechanical parts, outdoor power equipment, chemicals, and outdoor weather conditions.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
· Annual performance review conducted by Management.
· Annual goals to be determined collaboratively with Supervisors.
Typical Schedule: Position is full-time, salaried. Typical schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional night/weekend work, usually 4.5 days per week. This role often requires "on-call" availability for critical equipment failures to ensure 24/7 production continuity.
