Culmina Family Estate Winery is a boutique winery on the Golden Mile Bench south of Oliver. A love and appreciation for the craft of making fine wine underscores every detail at Culmina Family Estate Winery and is embedded in all that we do, from the vineyard and cellar to the tasting room.
We are looking for an energetic individual with a passion for wine, who is outgoing, is an effective and dynamic communicator, and can deliver top-notch customer service. The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality and some formal wine education (ie WSET). Our personalized tasting experiences will allow you to connect with the guest, have engaging conversations about our hand-crafted wines and help them in selecting their purchases and joining our Wine Club.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide guests with best in class seated tasting experience, educating and telling our winery story in engaging and dynamic way.
Responsible for the daily operations of the tasting room including maintaining wine & merchandise levels, POS system use and cash out, organization & cleanliness
Foster positive and long-term relationships with guests by advocating for our brand, wines and Wine Club
Work with team to meet sales targets
Job Requirements:
Exemplary customer service skills
A passion for wine, food and hospitality – WSET or ISG considered an asset
Detail oriented with an ability to multitask and a strong work-ethic
Friendly, courteous and positive attitude and able to work well with a team and individually
Must be able to lift 40 lb cases of wine & be able to stand for long periods of time
Holds a Serving it Right certificate
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
